I think Personnas are perfect to straight razors, but as soon I use them in a comb head, I have a feeling like they are not sharp enough.

Tradere with Schick Plus Platinum. This was the 11th shave on the blade and it began to tug in the 3rd pass.

Prep: Tepid Water Shower, Brush soaking in ice water.
    Razor: FaTip Grande
    Blade: Personna Super Platinum
Brush: 1950's Stanley Flat-Top Badger Hair Brush
Soap: Gillette Fusion ProGlide (don't tase me bro)
    AS: Gillette Cool Wave
Post: Cold Water Rinse, Naturally Fresh Alum, Second Cold Water Rinse, Double Splash of Cool Wave

To paraphrase Gary (GDCarrington), "you have to work with what you have".

Well today I was officially out of my "real" shaving creams and soaps, so I had to use the Gillette Fusion ProGlide. I had purcahsed this goo months ago in case of an emergency, well today was an emergency, as I was out of everything.

I probably should not have attempted to build a lather in a bowl, as you can see, it does not look very good, it was airy, lots of bubbles and too wet.

It applied well enough, was extremely slick, but had little cushion. It performed enough to get the job done, so in the end that is all that matters.

I must say, I do love the smell of it, as it has a nice and clean scent that I find refreshing.

I wish that Gillette would make a tube cream with this scent similar to the Barbasol Non Aerosol Therapeutic Shave Cream instead of this blue goo.

I am not aiming for a specific number, I will use it until it feels "dead" like normal.
