    Default SE "Mythbusters"

Seems to be a lot of SE threads this evening. Continuing on -

First pic, an Open Comb 1912 (seen many??)

Second pic, a Gem Junior with indented opening tab (Some have said that the Junior had a smooth tab only)

    I wonder if there's a Tan-Tip SE

I don't know much about SE's, but that line really made me laugh

And here I was thinking that you could conceivably collect every model of SE ever made and every time I look there's another one I haven't seen or heard of before.

Edit: I've got that model GEM junior. Got it off Greekguy. I think he's got more SEs than he's letting on!

Haha, I have way too many SE's. That was actually the only one I had at the time. But I can't seem to find any decent DE's I don't have, so SE's it is!

Nice thing about collecting SE razors, they are still inexpensive. I haven't personally seen any $200 plus Gems, Stars or Ever ready sales.

True, they are all very reasonable. The Kampfe stuff runs a lot more, however

Is there a difference between the damaskeene and the damascene?

I've seen photo's of only a couple of open comb 12's. They were posted by David Irving. (...where's he been?)

Shaveworld actually has a pretty extensive online encyclopedia of safety razors (and other shaving stuff). Not a lot of detail, but lots of pictures.
