Any interest for a league here?
Let me know.
I'm in.
We got about 4 weeks til we need to draft.
I am hoping for 10 teams. If the interest isn't there by the 2nd week of March then I might nix the idea.
Count me in. I never seem to follow through as much as I intend to, but this year will be different!![]()

I might regret it, but I think that I would like to join. It will make my 4th league. Count me in.
Is this a just for fun league or are we playing for money. Either way im interested.

Honestly, I don't know anything about baseball (by that, I mean anything about the players, not the sport itself), but I'm depressed that the football season is over, so you can count me in. Maybe this will give me some interest in baseball this year.
Sure, I'll join in!
I usually do one Baseball league. I'd love to do it with fellow B&Bers!
Whether it's a "fun" league or a "prize" league, I'm cool with it as long as the ante's within reason.
Is this your homework, Larry?
So far I count 8 people interested. We could do a 12 team league too. Where are we going to play through? Ive always done my fantasy football through yahoo.

I prefer ESPN's interface, but Yahoo's good too.
I'm usually not into 12 team leagues in other fantasy sports, but I guess baseball's well suited since it has such a large player pool (assuming we're doing AL & NL).

Im fine with whatever. Last year played one fantasy football league with ESPN and took a while to get used to the interface. But when I did I liked it.

I'm only familiar with yahoo so if that works for everyone I'll stick with it.
I like 12 teams because too few and the teams get stacked but I was unsure of interest so I think a minimum of ten will work. As for a prize/pay suggestions are welcome and I am generally game for whatever.
Count me in!!
Now I have to pick a team name... Something that will strike fear and terror into the heart of mere mortals... maybe...

More than 12 teams and the rosters get pretty thin, which IMO makes it hard for anyone other than hardcore baseball fans to play. Fewer than 10 teams and the teams definitely get too stacked which is boring, frankly.
As to the prize issue. I don't know the legalities of an informal pay to play league and its place on B&B. That might not be OK. If it is, though, it might be cool to make the prizes shaving related. Like a gift card to Bullgoose, or even to be so bold as to break up the prizes into 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and have them be, say, 1st place = a shaving item(s) worth $75, 2nd place = a Bronze Level Contribution to B&B in your name, and a Copper donation for third place...something like that. I don't know, I'm just throwing some ideas around. Obviously we'd have to work out the math and legalities, but it would be fun, I think, to somehow have B&B benefit too.
If you're going to be the Commish, it should be whatever you're comfortable with doing. I know it can be a pain in the butt to be the commissioner, and this should be about everyone enjoying themselves.

Live draft or auto?
Dan Parker
I would hope for live, but it's pretty hard to get twelve guys in different timezones with different family obligations all at their PCs at the right time.
FWIW- any nights after 9PM is good for me. Before that I'm either working or deeply immersed in the beautiful chaos that three preschoolers bring to my life as a dad.

On the drafts that are taking too long, I usually draft for as long as I can, then I set it to auto-pilot and split. Just make sure you set your list of rankings prior to draft day.
