I found myself with a Noodlers ink stains on my fingers after working on the innards of a few fountain pens. Amodex was not handy, so I rubbed Real Shaving Company Moisturizing Shaving Cream on my stained fingers without water.
Some rubbing a then slowly adding water and the stains melted away. Better than Amodex. Go figure.
The stains weren't on my fingers a long time, perhaps the slightly abrasive Amodex would would better for ink that had soaked in.
