    Default The Sting of Astringents

    I have found that a little bit of a sting with alum, a styptic pencil or an aftershave is kind of intoxicating in a weird way.
    Too much sucks, however....

    Anyone else???

    Hmmm. Yeah, I prefer the alum sting, followed by a rinse then a nice smoothing balm. And yes, too much sting is very unpleasant!

    Sometimes it's a bit uncomfortable.. Try using Thayers Witch Hazel..
