Like, the kind you put on a sunburn. When I was younger I was examining a bottle of the stuff I had, and I noticed that it said on the back label that it's good for a variety of things other than burns, such as being used as a hair gel or a shaving gel. Curious, I ran some through my hair, and it actually did work pretty well as a hair gel. Next, I tried it as a shaving gel, and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too bad at that either. Mind you, this was back in my canned goop and disposable bic days, so take that for what it's worth.
Anyway, I just thought about that now for some reason, and I'm starting to wonder if it works as well as I remember it, or if it wouldn't hold up to my current line of high end creams and soaps. Unfortunately I don't have any Aloe gel at hand currently to test it. Has anyone here ever tried that stuff for shaving?

Also able to just spend about 1/2 the time for the shave as I do not need to prepare the lather and the rinsing off after the shave was quite easy.
Will do it again on days I am feeling a little lazy.
