Default Dads recent trip to the antique store...

Well he managed to pick up a few good items and very reasonable prices. He handed me the gold cased razor on the right in the pictures......but oddly enough, the case is different than the one I had before. I doubt the razor is correct for the case, maybe it is. And......it has a smaller diameter handle than my other "new" razor....my old one is a long tooth, the new one is a short....is that the way the handle was on these razors? Just looking for some input on what I have. No matter what, theres not a lot of money tied up in this ordeal so its cool if its all mismatched.

Wow, thanks! I never would have guessed everything in it was correct. There are some blades in the bank still, I'll take a look and see what they are. Dad did good for 8 dollars.

No crack in the 501 set on mine. Blade date is H2

Wow! Amazing find. Those things are very hard to come by in such great condition. There is a mint set on the bay that just popped up. I bet it goes for over $200. Your dad got a great deal!

You had better get him something awfully nice for Father's Day.

Hmm I think that was last year when I gave him an unfired smith and wesson 67 no dash revolver.
