What do you guys wash your face with before you shave?!

I typically wash my face with nivea pre shave face wash on the days before I shave.

I'm just curious what others tend to wash their face with before shaving?

I'm alternating between Out of Africa's Black Soap (rich in Shea Butter) and Pear's Glycerin ... when the weather gets warmer, I'll be putting Burt's Bees bar soap into the mix.

No matter which soap, I always rub it in well, let it sit for a minute, rinse it off and repeat. Then, I follow it with Thayers Lavender WH.

I use Noxema cream to wash my face before I shower. Its like Halls mentholyptus (sp?) for your face, very invigorating.

this is what i used to use but now i dont wash with anything, i just let the brush and soap or cream do all the work. I still wash my forehead but nothing for the rest of the face. I havent seen any big difference tbh i feel it works better the the soap would dry my out further.

I usually don't wash my face before I shave since the shave soap/cream will take care of that. At night, I use a bar of high quality bath soap. On non-shave days, CADE face scrub followed by whatever bar of bath soap I'm using that morning and then non-alc. Thayers witch hazel.
