Nomad by Evelyn and Crabtree

Just picked up some Nomad. It's fantastic! I've been using D.R. Harris Arlington as my only soap and I found it nice, but was always wanting for some lubrication. Sometimes I got better lather than other times (technique I'd say), but in general I always found it lacked a certain slipperiness. My razor often stuck or skipped.

Today I tried my Nomad, and found that not only did I get the richest, thickest lather I've ever made, the soap itself was very slick and provided some great lubrication. I got a beautiful shave. Very smooth gliding, no skipping. Very happy with this.

I'm not a fan of the Nomad scent but I recently bought a puck of Sienna and love the lather it produces. Enjoy your new soap!

I bought all three Crabtree and Evelyn soaps on Boxing Day and have tried all three. For some reason the Sandlewood seems to agree with my skin the best. I've sliced off the bottoms of each puck and added them to the Canadian Travelling Box #2. If you are in Canada you can participate and try out all the neat stuff in there.
