    Default stupid moments

    Yup, i had one.
Let me just give some advice: dont finish off a great shave by trying to trim nose hairs with a straight razor!

Strange pictures in my head right now

Hope you didn't hurt yourself too much, your nose is still there?

Stitches? Or perhaps a feeling it might have been wiser to get stitches instead of having used duct tape?

Also, don't chew on the blade or stick it in your eyeball.

If you can't fix it with duct tape, you haven't used enough

Straights should come with a warning label

I expect he now has only the one big nostril.

...Well...it'll make the flowers smell nicer.

I've thought about that too, until I realize that the scissors are only 10 seconds away. When there's hair that needs to go and you have a sharp blade in your hand, it's so hard to resist...

Let me guess. Your razor had a barbers notch, and you decided to give it a try?

I was thinking along similar lines this morning, but neither of my straights have barbers notches, and the electric nosehair trimmer was easy to find.....
At least I haven't carved half my face off....Yet.

It takes a sharp edge and the barbers notch comes in handy . I think i have had the most success at nose hairs with a spike point but I usually pay the price on one of my cheeks for the use of the spike. No matter how careful I am I get myself occasionally with a spike but oddly enough never my nose.

Yeah, those stubborn eyeball hairs can be hard to get!

I just nicked my nose, didn't even bleed more than a minute. It was just one of those, "wow, did I just do that?" moments.
My wife just looked at me and said, "As much as I'd like to say I am, I'm not surprised".

I read this and immediately got a picture in my head of Jack Nicholson in "Chinatown".

Never though of trying to get a straight into my nostrils but... I can say that a few weeks ago while shaving I noticed a random long hair jutting of my ear about halfway up the outer edge. Took the blade and did my own HHT and it popped that baby right off. Very handy in that respect.
