TOB Avocado - Dried Out When New?

Hi,

I just received a tub of Taylor of Old Bond Street Avocado shaving cream. When I opened the lid the product looked dried out and not smooth and creamy at all. It looked like when you take a mound of soap and let it sit, the air bubbles will pop and when it's all dried out you get a pockmarked mountain of dried out soap. Is TOB cream suppossed to be like this new?

mine doesn't look that way, it has no bubbles. try shaving with it?

No, frankly it looks like old stock or wasn't sealed propperly.

Shouldn't be that way. Return it for one of proper consistency. You can add some water, stir and reconstitue it but you shouldn't have to do this. If you do, add water slowly and stir and add more water as necessary until it is right.

When I re-checked all my other creams I found them looking nice and rich and yummy. So, I know there was something wrong with this one. It's got such good reviews I'm going to re-order from a different seller and hopefully get a tub from a good batch.

I contacted the seller and they said they'd refund me.
