    I got a can of Nivea gel for Christmas a couple of years ago from my parents. I'd dispensed with all my other gels and foams but this one lives within easy reach of the shower for emergency 2 minute shaves so it will be used up - eventually.

    I'm surprised how expensive the branded gels are - for a couple of pounds more you could buy a decent soap or cream.
    Razors: English Gillette Tech
    Blades: Derbys
    Cream: TOBS Shaving Shop, Proraso
    Soap: TOBS Sandalwood, Wilkinson Sword
    Brush: Tweezerman

    omg, I have the same story, not my mom, but one of the elderly ladies in town brought me a 3 pack of Lifebouy soap to help me in my time of need.

    Honestly, despite the fact that I have been laughing myself sick over it, it was a really, really sweet thing. I am gonna keep it.
