    Default Still have my skin

I got my DE in last night and had my first DE shave this morning, kinda fun. Only had a few weepers. I only did one pass but will work on it a little more this weekend.

    Method..

    Shower
    Pre heat lather bowl
    Pre shave cream (e-barbershop)
Proraso shaving soap / Parker Badger brush
Merkur 38 HD Classic Barber pole long (I like it)
    Cold water rinse
    Witch Hazel
Classic Bay Rum (my wife said I smell like her grandfather )

    Any way, very enjoyable.

Thanks for all the tips and help.

    Dave

    Default Good job

That's a good start. Once your hand stops shaking (is it fear or anticipation?) and you are able to make less tentative passes, your shave will improve dramatically. Patience and practice will lead to better shaves.

    Good luck.
    My mileage does vary.

Congrats, sounds good! Don't worry about the weepers, take your time and remember, no pressure at all time. The weight of the razor is enough.
