    Default 60 day Check in

Member here for the past 2 months. In that period I have purchased 6 razors, 8 brushes (2 of them I restored with TGN knots) 2 tubs of soap Proraso and Tabac, a yet to be filled vintage Old Spice shave mug(open to suggestions), a bottle of Witch Hazel (which I love) and a bottle of Nivea AS Balm.
So what I have learned is my face loves Vintage Gillette razors, SuperSpeeds and Adjustable Slims. A Merkur HD 34c is to agressive for aFreckled faced Ginger. I love to bowl or face lather either the Tabac or the Proraso, love the way the Tabac smells but the Proraso give the better shave. I need a fresh blade everyday and 200 Personna Reds work just great. If I get to agressive Witch Hazel cools and refreshes and Nivea Balm burns and stings. I have mapped my face and found my beard grows in the most unlikely directions. Blade angle is key and its still is hard to do so with no pressure. But all and all this has been a blast. Thanks for all the advice and fun

It's great to see someone get excited and make great progress. Brings up good memories of my own experience. Congratulations and well done!
