Shave Stick + Shave Soap for a great shave

I can't find the post I saw a few days ago..... but what a great suggestion was made. Using your shaving stick without lathering with a brush, and then applying the shave soap of your choice (face lathering), gives a much better cushion then one or the other and a much creamier lather. As a matter of fact I shave this morning by applying a film of Honeybee Spas Shea Butter shaving stick (Yuzu) & then loaded my brush with Pre de Provence shaving soap for a great shave.

This evening I did the same thing only with a Speick shaving stick and face lathering with Dovo (Essential Oil - eucalyptus, mint) for another fabulous 4 pass shave.

I think, when I have the time, it's a great way to concoct a super lather of sorts and it's fun to mix some of the complimentary scents from shaving stick to shaving soap to achieve this goal.

I did it backwards.

Smeared some Musgo Cream on my face, then worked the La Toja stick onto my brush head. I had gobs and gobs of lather and what a great fragrance.

To my challenged sniffer, they smelled similar.
