Default 10 DE Razors and 2 Brushes - Sale or Trade [Pic Heavy]

I'd like to put some items up for sale/trade, but before I do, I'm bracing for an assault.

First, before anybody picks a fight over my post count only being in the fifties, please go actually read my posts. Some are brief, but they're overall solid posts.

Second, I've been a member of this forum for over two years. Mostly as a reader. I was a wet shaver before I ever came here. Go read my very first post here to verify it for yourself.

I am a member of two other shaving forums as well, and I have been most active in another one (TSD), but I am getting back into shaving from a yearlong hiatus, and I'm now coming over to spend some time on B&B.

All in All, I'm not trying to make a living off of the B/S/T forum. I'm going to ask reasonable prices, based on what I see other items selling for on this site.

Also, everything in this batch of items has been in my possession since 2008. I bought some for myself and some as gifts that were never given. I bought some in this very website's trade channel. I bought others at antique shops in Nashville, because they were reasonably priced, and I hope they'll be useful to someone who appreciates them through this forum. I bought them in cruddy condition and put in effort to clean them up, and I'm selling them for what I consider to be reasonable prices. If I'm causing a problem, have a mod contact me, and I will gladly list my stuff on eBay instead.

All that being said, I hope that nobody feels the need to cause a stink, because I think this community is a great place for much more than selling items. It is a great place, because it is exactly what I called it - a community.

So, with that out of the way, on to the items...

10 Razors (All of them are in excellent working condition: No missing pieces. No broken/loose hinges):
1966 L1 Flare Tip SS: <<< STILL AVAILABLE AS OF 3:30 THURSDAY, 2-17 Good, 85% plating intact, Brassing. Chips on one door. $13 Shipped Reduced from $15
1947-49 SuperSpeed: Very Good, 95% plating intact, mild brassing, but no chips. Doors excellent. This is hands down my favorite of the bunch. Very cool razor. $20 Shipped Reduced from $25 PENDING
1960 F2 Flare Tip SS: Very Good, 95% plating intact, mild brassing, but no chips. Surface scratches on doors; doors still feel totally smooth. No chips. $20 Shipped SOLD
1951 W3 Black Tip SS: Fair-Good, Aluminum Handle Oxidized and Chipped. Mechanically Excellent. Doors show wear, but no chips. Very lightweight with the aluminum handle. $9 Shipped Reduced from $10 SOLD
1967 M3 Gillette Knack: Very Good, some tiny chips on adjustment ring. Doors in very good condition. Plastic handle shows wear. $9 Shipped Reduced from $10 SOLD
1963 I4 Slim Adjustable: Good, 90% plating intact, Brassing on handle only. Doors in very good condition. Hardly any paint left in the numbers. $25 Shipped SOLD
1969 N1 Gillette Knack: Very Good, no chips anywhere. Doors in very good condition. Plastic handle shows wear. $10 Shipped SOLD
1959-65 Schick Krona (#1): All three in very similar condition. Very Good, no chips or brassing. Doors look great. Plastic has very mild discoloration. $10 Shipped SOLD
1959-65 Schick Krona (#2): All three in very similar condition. Very Good, no chips or brassing. Doors look great. Plastic has very mild discoloration. $10 Shipped SOLD
1959-65 Schick Krona (#3): <<< STILL AVAILABLE AS OF 3:30 THURSDAY, 2-17 All three in very similar condition. Very Good, no chips or brassing. Doors look great. Plastic has very mild discoloration. $9 Shipped Reduced from $10

And the Brushes:
Crabtree & Evelyn Best Badger Brush + Stand: Used once or twice. Has a nice smell and a great feel. Shouldn't really need much of an intro - it's a C&E BBB LOL. I'm pricing it based on what I paid, which was $35 for the brush, and $6 for the matching stand. The brush now retails for $65, but you can get it for less than what I paid for it. I still have the box for the brush and the bag that it all came in! Good deal. $38 Shipped SOLD
Men-U Premier Synthetic Brush: Again, this brush is a known quantity. Lathers exceptionally in a bowl, but not a great face latherer. Very solid as far as synthetics go. I tried it, and while it's very nice for what it is, I just prefer natural bristles. $30 Shipped SOLD

Trades
I'm also open to trades. Hard to quantify on an item-by-item basis, but here's a list of things I'd consider for trades:
Taylor Eton College Cream
Taylor St. James Cream, Aftershave
Taylor Mr. Taylor Cream
Taylor Rose Cream
T&H 1805 Cream
T&H Trafalgar Cream, Aftershave
T&H Grafton Cream, Aftershave
T&H West Indian Limes
A chubby little British brush with a short loft, in best badger. Simpson makes some sweet ones.
Taylor Big Baby Guitar! LOL

All prices include First Class shipping to the Continental United States. I will ship international, but you would need to pay the actual shipping costs.
If you want multiple items, I'll deduct $2.00 from the cost of each item past the first, cuz that's what I'm roughly anticipating in shipping costs on everything but the C&E brush - the size may make it a little more money.

FYI everyone - I'm keeping the initial post up to date. Every time I get somebody interested, I list it as pending, and when I get PayPal funds, I list it as sold.

What you see up top is current.

It's technically possible, but I'd recommend against it.

Reason being, the U.S. Postal Service can only do COD on domestics. UPS can do COD on internationals, but it costs extra, and UPS costs a lot more than the Post Office in the first place, especially for internationals.

Granted, you would be the one paying all those costs, not me, so it really doesn't hurt me, but I'd advise PayPal from a credit card or bank account, or a check or money order in the mail.

Send me a PM if you have other questions. I try to be very prompt about responding to my PM's.

Sorry All... I've got to assume that this B/S/T has been, like ,ridiculously abused in the past. The whole community polices it like an uber-elite squad of neighborhood-watch agents.

I wasn't trying to cheat; I just didn't want my listing to fall behind the first page and get ignored, particularly when there are other listings on the first page that have sold all their items, and my listing still has nearly half the items available.

So, outside of a "bump" - what does the community permit in terms of just keeping a listing relevant? Can I make a posting saying "There's still items for sale", or something similar?

I've also got no problem doing discounts, and I naturally will if items don't generate interest over the next couple days. But I'm not quite ready to, after less than 36 hours. My prices were pretty low to begin with. I'll discount if I've still got items sitting here a couple days from now.

I have both a Krona and a Knack. They are great shavers and this is a decent price. Any noobies looking for a starter DE should grab one!

Yeah, according to the new rules, still no bumps:

5.) No post bumps from the seller will be allowed, however sellers can answer any questions posted in the threads, and can post minimum 10% price reductions as frequently as they desire.

The only other option is re-listing in a week with a %20 reduction.

BUT we are encouraged to do like I just did above and hype other members listings we think are worth it. I think many B&Bers haven't been doing this a much because I don't think it was encouraged in the past.

Read the rules. I think it's a 10% price reduction that allows you to repost. Not too sure since I've never sold. Just keep the faith that people look further than the first page

We at B&B love the community and the BST. We agree to follow the rules simply by being members.
If you have concerns, I recommend you read the rules, or you contact a mod. This is not really the place to be airing your dirty laundry.
