Exactly!

Astra SP. Sharp, long lived cheap, readily available, and versatile with a number of different razors.

5 years ago it was the Gillette 7 O'Clock Yellows. While they are still one of my favorites, the Polsilver SI's due to increased availability move back into the the #1 spot for me. To round out the third spot, it would be the Gillette Silver Blues which are really nice and smooth.

For me, it would have to be the Wilkinson Sword blades. If I couldn't use them, though, I wouldn't suffer, I also would be very happy with Feather, Astra or Isreili Personnas.

From the limited ones that I have tried, I would say the 7 O'Clock Blacks. Smooth yet Sharp.

Rapira Swedish Supersteels... the best blend of sharp and comfortable.

Right now I would have to say either Gillette Silver Blues or Astra SP's.

7 o'clock Green(made in India version). Just as sharp as GSB but a couple of notches smoother.
