Default In love with the Citrus

Just got my T&H sampler...was going to go with the Sandalwood, but then I saw the West Indian Lime...

Peel it open, give it a sniff...WOW, that smells fantastic! Squeeze out a dollop and start lathering...creamy and slick. Loved it! It was actually almost sad to clean up the bowl and brush after...there was so much lather left

I also used the WIL balm, but it really just reaffirmed that balms are not for me. I have to have something with some alcohol in it.

You guys have recommendations for Lime aftershave splashes? Know of any that would compliment the T&H WIL cream?

I tried a MMOC once. I've sinced switched to straight razor shaving because it was less dangerous.

Some other good Citrus creams are:

    Salter Sublime Citrus
    AoS Lemon
Trumpers GFT (its kind of citrusy, but not an outright scent)
Bespoke... that's british for "Hand over your money, Sir!"

For a lime splash, I like TOBS Victorian Lime.

I've never tried the aftershave, but the cologne smells GREAT.

Saint Charles Shave also does a nice lime splash with alcohol.

If you love lime, you must try Trumper and Castle Forbes. 90% of B&B members say CF is the best, but there is a small minority, like me, who think Trumper's Lime is the best.

Mühle Sea Buckthorn! A heavier, rounder, mellowed citrus. Still sweet, but not as zesty and "fresh."

I think the T&H WIL AS works very well.

YES!!! T&H West Indian Limes is the best citrus on the market IMO.

    Excellent choice, man!

Without reservation TOBS Victorian Lime 74 is the one you want. It is the long lasting Lime out there and there is more to it than just Lime as it evolves throughout the day. Available in both A/S and Cologne. The perfect summertime scent.

+1. It's a more full bodied citrus with some masculine undertones.

I don't understand why people think the Sea Buckthorn line is citrus. Its dominant note is apricots, with maybe some pear. There is no citrus that I can smell.

+1 - This is just a really great A/S. I use it with QCS Key Lime shaving croak (cream/soap) and its a really nice combo!

I like Castle Forbes Lime Oil the best, and AoS Lemon the least.

I like the sound of that. There is another one for the list.

As for citrus creams I love Cyril R Salter Essential Lime and Dettol Fresh.
I have far too much stuff to even begin to list it here...
