South of France vs Nesti Dante bar soap

I have used a couple of bars of South of France soap. I like the Verbena. The soap lathers great, smells great and lasts quite a long time--up to 4 months for the 250 g bar.

I have been reading about Nesti Dante soaps from Italy and am intrigued.

Has anyone used both of these soaps?

Could you offer a comparison?

What scents do you recommend for Nesti Dante? I tend to like the citrus smell but would be willing to experiment.

NestI Dante only offers a few Citrus scents - Dolce Vivere Capri (Orange Blossom, Frosted Mandarin and Basil) and Il Frutteto - Bergamot and Cedar and Olive and Mandarin. I have tried the Capri a few times and I like it, South of France isn't available in Europe but should be like any other generic Provence soap.

I use the south of france lavander soap all the time , it is one of my go to soaps . Also , can can get 2 4 ounce soaps for 4 bucks at right aid . Great lather , great natural smell , and all natural ingredients . Whats not to love ?

Lusitano, are you on commission?

I will end up ordering lots of soap (including the Giovanni soaps) which have been made in Europe shipped to the US and the posted back again

. Not very good for my carbon footprint.

I have used the Nesti Dante soap in the Cypress and have been favorably impressed with it but it is still a distant second to the Yardley English Lavender Soap made in England. The one made in the USA while an excellent soap at any price doesn't quite measure up to the performance of the one from England.
