Can I go Straight from a Black Arkansas to a Finisher? A Barber's?

Title pretty much says it all. I have a razor, a white Arkansas stone, and a black Arkansas stone. I still need a strop, but that's another matter(i think; tell me if i'm wrong).
Can i go straight from that to a finishing or barber's stone, or do i need another in between?

If the edge is keen enough and the black Arkansas is smoothed enough (through lapping), that should be perfectly sufficient as a finisher.

Arkansas stones (black or translucent) are basically the same as a Charnley Forest so they should be sufficient as a finisher. As Jared said, just make sure they are lapped well (probably start at 220 w/d and work your way to 2000). they also may require a ton of laps to finish, but so does a CF.

Experiment with using water and oil, but it should be sufficient.
