Default FS: Nice straights - Blue Diamond, Liberty, ATOR, Bokers

    ***PRICES REDUCED***

**This posting is pic heavy** This is my posting for the second week in February. I've got just too many straights now and with the recent acquisition of some nice customs last month, it's time to thin the herd.

*All prices are in USD and shipped in Canada with standard shipping.
*Conus please add $2 and $3 for international.
*If you want tracking/insurance it will be extra.
    *Paypal is preferred.
*If you are picking up in Vancouver then deduct $3 as that's the cost of shipping one straight razor in a bubble envelope in Canada.
*All razors will be shipped shave ready, sterilized and oiled for its trip to your home.

Here's a short list of all the items for sale. The descriptions are below with pics.

    1. NOS Blue Diamond by C. Weber - Butz Rheineck, round tip with cracked ice acrylic (really gorgeous), 5/8" $175
    2. Liberty by T. Noonan & Sons Co., square tip with bubinga scales, 6/8" $100
    3. ATOR by ERN, round tip with rosewood scales, 6/8" SOLD
    4. Boker King Cutter, black bakelite scales, 5/8" $50
    5. Boker King Cutter, faux ivory scales, 5/8" SOLD
    6. Boker King Cutter, 'Friday' from 7 day set, black bakelite scales, 5/8" Pending sale

    -------------------
    1. "NOS" Blue Diamond by C. Weber - Butz Rheineck, round tip with cracked ice acrylic (really gorgeous), 5/8"
    $250 $200 $175 shipped Standard Canada Post
-I wrote NOS is quotes because I actually shaved with this razor one time. When I first got it there was little or no bevel on the edge of the razor. It was like a butterknife. I'm pretty certain that I was the first person to hone this razor. The shave was good but I feel it will still need a little touchup to be just right. I honed with one piece of tape on the spine. The blade had a very small dent (not a chip) at the edge of the blade and this can be seen in the second photo. There's also small light area of pitting near the edge and on the spine near the tip. The dent can be honed out. I have no idea how this small dent got there but it didn't affect my shave. Finally since I'm being picky there's also a very small amount of blue colour differential on the tang - it's a slight purple colour rather than blue in a small part of the tang. The razor actually looks fantastic but I feel little issues like this are better mentioned now than brought up by someone else later.

    --------------------
    2. Liberty by T. Noonan & Sons Co., square tip with bubinga scales, 6/8"
    $150 $125 $100 shipped standard Canada Post
-This is a fantastic square tip that I've restored. It's got a nice shine to it and can take a great edge. Yes it is a square tip so it's better suited for an advanced or die-hard shaver. The scales have sexy curves to them and are made from bubinga and finished with conservator's wax. The inside of the scales have been sealed with CA glue. The pins are triple stacked for that awesome restored look! This razor feels so nice in the hand. It's heavy like a chopper but is a 3/4 hollow. It will be a great addition to any collection.

    ----------------------
    3. ATOR by ERN, round tip with rosewood scales, 6/8" SOLD
    $65 shipped standard Canada Post
-This is the famous ATOR by ERN, Germany. This is a shoulderless and fantastic round tip razor. It does have some deep pitting on the spine and light pitting on the blade. We've seen these ATOR razors come up for sale for much more than my price. I've keep the price relatively low because of the deficiencies. The scales are premade out of rosewood and I've used microfasteners in case the buyer wants to rescale or clean one day. There is no rust on the razor, just some flea bites and if you can live with that you've got yourself a great shaver that will last a lifetime.

    ----------------------
    4. Boker King Cutter, black bakelite scales, 5/8"
    5. Boker King Cutter, faux ivory scales, 5/8" SOLD
    6. Boker King Cutter, 'Friday' from 7 day set, black bakelite scales, 5/8"
$55 $50 EACH shipped standard Canada Post
-Each of these 3 Boker razors are in relative the same condition. The cream coloured one is probably the best out of the three.
-#6 has been taken out of my 7 day set as I've decided to break it up.
-I believe I have two original boxes for these King Cutter so the first two buyers will get an original box.

    ---------------------
Lastly, here's a group shot because all the photos above have been uploaded to the B&B server but they will be removed after this thread is closed.

Very nice Bokers! I just recently received my first two King Cutters, awesome shavers. Yours are very tempting, but I have too many razors incoming at the moment.

Great Sale. The ATOR and the Bokers are nice for the price. The other two are just plain awesome. Good luck with the sale.
