Yesterday I had a haircut. A real haircut form a barber. The barber shop was a throwback to a fifties type barber shop. Guys shooting the breeze with each other. The haircut was exceptional. It was followed with a straight razor shave on the back of the neck and around the ears. Followed with a hot towel and a neck rub.

Yes they do a face shave I did not ask how much. The haircut I had was eleven dollars.

The reason I asked about the shave was I would be interested to hear if those that have had one before feel it is as good as their own shave.
I've never had one but I think it'd be almost impossible for a barber who sees me for 10-15 minutes to be able to give me a better shave than I can give myself. I would still do it for the experience but wonder about quality.
