Hey jim what you think of my improving photos.. Im inspired by your great shots.. And I've discovered that a translucent shower curtain makes a great light box. It smoothes out harsh light and keeps the light even throughout..
P.S.- Thanx to Mat (pzbarber) for the review of the shavette.. As you can see I had to have one...

I love the Speick...the shaves in a row and I'm not tired of it yet! Great, wet lather that coates at the same time...and the scent is GREAT.

I'm going to try a week's worth of SLANT shaves to determine if I can fall in love with it like the Merkur HD and the collection of English Rockets.

Andreas custom silvertip badger brush
TGQ Desert Ironwood shaving soap No styptic pencil
Witch-hazel Pino Sylvestre AS
As much as I love this razor's mild shave, it's just not heavy enough to pull it off; it's too mild! OK, it's not going to be one of my "go-to" razors; so what? I'm not selling it.
I did make a one-time change in my shaving order: WTG, XTG, and then ATG. It didn't make much of a difference, other than throwing-off my rhythm.
I do like the Desert Ironwood shaving soap: mounds of rich lather, and that smell...
