Default PharmerMat's Entry into the B&B Hall of Fame

Please allow me to introduce myself:

    Username:
    PharmerMat

    What is your real name?
Mathew; yes it's only got 1 "t"... and yes it i spelled correctly, all you "2 T'ers" have it wrong

    What are your nicknames/aliases?
Mat, Matty (reserved for my sister), Matty G, Mateo

    Where do you live?
St.Petersburg FL. (much better than St. Petersburg Russia, no?)

What is your age (or) generation?
    27

What are you in the real world?
for now, a student, but very shortly a Pharmacist

What is your favorite shave setup?
Before making the jump: I've tried every 'new' razor that gilette or schick has released in an effort to find 'my shave' most recently, I used a Gilette Fusion with Edge non-foaming Shave cream (in a tube, not a can).
Now that I have crossed into the light, I'm using a 1958 Gilette Superspeed TTO, and am temporarily stuck with a Boar hair brush (soon to be replaced) with CO Bigelow shave cream, followed by Clubman classic aftershave lotion (which stings more like an alcohol astringent than a lotion, but what do I know)

What are your hobbies and favorite activities?
I'm a Professional Student, so for the moment, my hobbies including studying, reading journal articles, studying, and doing homework. When I'm not doing that stuff, I play with my dogs (Ginger my Boxer mix, and Bella my girlfriend's malti-poo) and go to the range with my buddies. (nothing better after a long week or rough exam than punching a few 9mm holes in paper ) I'm a die-hard Gator fan, and on Saturdays in the fall, can be found screaming my head off either at a bar with my buddies (for away games) or at the Swamp with my buddies (for home games) havent missed 1 in 7 years, don't intend to start missing em anytime soon.

What else should the members of B&B know about you?
I'm Italian, Always right, and stubborn as all hell, but basically I'm a likable easy going guy. I drink Bombay Sapphire with Tonic, Crown with Coke, and Vodka with ice. Also, I abuse commas and semicolons with alarming regularity so grammar-police: be warned.

Hey Mat!! Welcome to the Hall of Fame!! I'm soon to be a Pharmacy Technician. Yet everyone tells me I should go to Pharmacy school while I'm still young. I wanna see what being a tech is like for a few years.

    thanks everyone!

@ki11ak3nn: salary difference between Pharmacist and Technician is staggering, but so is the schooling... if you love chemistry and anatomy and have the grades for med school but dont want to touch people, pharmacy school may be up your alley, but definitely try it out as a tech and see the day to day of the field. thats what i did anyway.

If you have any specific questions about let me know

Welcome to B&B and the hall, Matt.

Could you kindly take a seat over here, please? Thank you.

Now, let's discuss the disdainful way you have referred to your shaving brush and how you are "stuck" with boar hair.

The thing is, it is difficult to return to school once you are in a job. Please, do get a PharmD or MPharm if you think you're up for it. The two jobs are not the same and you'll have much more possibilities if you have an advanced or professional degree. You could even cross in to the dark side and become a Regulatory Affairs Professional But then again, YMMV (should have learned that term a long time ago)!

    @PharmerMat: Welcome

    Talking Welcome from St. Petersburg

Welcome to the HOF, Mat, from a fellow resident of St. Petersburg, FL, an Italian, another individual who likes Bombay Sapphire Gin (but in a martini), and who is an avid gun guy.

I guess my son is spelling his name wrong!

I meant no disrespect more was about the quality of the brush than the material, its a cheap brush i got at CVS and it sheds like mad.

No harm done! Just keep in mind that you don't have to spend a lot of money to get a great brush - even if we're just talking badger.
