Tried a cold water shave today after building up the courage for a week or so. Very invigorating and surprisingly, no tugging or pulling. Great results!

A wonderful start into the new week with the following set-up:

- Calani 'Dubai' shave soap
- Jack Black Pure Performance shave brush
- iKon Bulldog Open Comb
- Feather (5.)
- Dr. Alkaitis Organic Soothing Gel after shave treatment

Although the shave was good I envy my wife's start of the week. She got to watch the Super Bowl while I was heading out to work. Getting periodical scores updates from SHMBO is not the same than watcjing it oneself...

Le Grelot | Ever Ready w/ TGN ST-A | Fitjar | Thayers Rose | Knize Ten Golden Edition

This was my first time using the Fitjar creams. I was a bit apprehensive at first because the scent was, as some have described it, truly that of smoke. But, as the lather began to explode into some of the best I've experienced, the smell wafted around me and became somewhat addictive. The Le Grelot then did its dance in the creamy Fitjar and left me with a face that was BBS smooth.

Great way to start the week! Good to see everyone's incredible shaves and gear already. Thank you, gentlemen!
