    Default My first restore!

I just finished my first restore job and I'm so proud! I purchased an ever ready brush and an old spice mug from an antique mall for $6 last week. I ordered a best/fine badger knot from whippeddog. I used the brush for the first time this morning and it was great! I have only used a tweezerman up to this point and I amazed how much better this brush performed. My plan was to use the two brushes in rotation, but now I don't think I can bring myself to use the tweezerman as anything more than a travel brush. Here are some before and after pics.

Excellent job! I have that same handle and really enjoy using it. Now that the restoration bug has bitten, it is time to start shopping for your next project!
