    Default Aftershave or Balm ?

    Face is getting dry after i use my Aqua-Velva, would a balm be better ?

    Sure! I use a balm for the same reasons ... after shave just leaves my skin too dry.

    As long as your going to be thinking anyway, think big.

    Thayers WH also works! But there are a number of good balms out there that will provide great relief. You can also use a moisturizer.

    I always apply witch hazel before using an AS or balm. Aqua-Velva is a bit too strong for me full-strength. I cut it 50-50 with witch hazel.

    I'm a big balm fan, and I suspect that your face will feel better using one if AV is drying you out.

    I use both , one week balm and the other the aftershave . In the past I was using only the balm , a bottle of balm will be with you for very long time like 8 month .

    I use a blam in the cooler months. The only thing I do after a shave in the summer is a cold water rinse.
