Kind of a long read, indulge me.
Ok, just wanted to put this out there in the hopes that it may help. B&B has been so helpful that I thought I would try to give back a bit...

I won't get into too many details about Monday morning's shave, but let's just say...the feather turned my neck into something resembling rare hamburger meet. (Remember the scene in Poltergeist, where the guys peels his own face off?)
Flash forward to Tuesday...It's 5:15 a.m., quiet time and whilst checking my the work emails to see what the day has in store (work with offshore...A LOT...so I average about 100 emails every morning when I get up).
Sipping my coffee, and I think I hear something...what was that?! Check the baby...sleeping like...well like a baby. How else would he sleep? Girlfriend sleeping? Check. Must be nothing.
I hear it again...like soft snickering. What the h*ll? It's coming from the bathroom...I go around the corner, and my Fat handled Tech, my Aluminum Tech, and my Slim Adjustable are huddled around a tiny digital camera looking at photos of what Fat-Handled did to my face yesterday! When did they take those pictures?!
So I put the Fat handle and the Slim in timeout (read: dark cupboard).
Decided to go "Tough Love" on the Aluminum, so I drop him into a shallow bowl of rubbing alcohol and start lathering. I'm a cold water guy, so I fill up the sink and take a run at it with the following setup:
Custom handled Finest from TGN
Astra Platinum
Charismata shave soap...I usually face lather, but decided to go bowl today, and I'm glad I did.
Good lather...worked the beard (not too much, I find that irritates my skin)
First pass WTG
Second pass kind of a WTG XTG hybrid
Third pass...kind of a modified ATG with just a hint of XTG...but, today, streeeeeeeetch the neck.
EUREKA!
Rinse off...rub the razorock...clean up the gear
Now here's the big change...cleaned up the Razorock with an ice cube...

LOVED IT!!!
Thayers Lavendar witchhazel...couple of minutes
Aqua Velva Blue Ice
Some leftover redness from Monday's cookout, but no irritation feeling
Today, same as above. Looking and feeling even better than Tuesday.
It can be done. Thanks for reading

I tried a MMOC once. I've sinced switched to straight razor shaving because it was less dangerous.
