Default I am suffering from SCAD and SSAD

Now that I have finally learned how to make a proper lather, I find myself wanting to try different things. I can't seem to help but buy different soaps/creams. I am new to the soap world and of course had to buy some woolfat. I then preceeded to buy some Fraser Cream. My wife is probably going to kill me soon and sell my growing collection.

    I have:
    proraso green
    real shaving co. cooling
    palmolive red
    C&E SA
    Arko soap
    salters lime (sample)
    taylor avacado (sample)
    williams soap
    van Haagen soap
mama bear hydrogen soap (sample, thanks sue)
    cremo creme
    jack black beard lube
    KOS alphagel
    neutrogena razor defense

of course some of these are left over from the non DE days. I can't believe my wife wonders why I need more creams/soaps. OMG now that I have listed them, its kinda scary. I also think the AD is spreading to RBAD and ASAD. I need to stop soon.

    Scary? Nah, that's just the pre-stages of full-blown SCAD/SSAD.

It's a start. You will not find a better group of enablers than this one! I'm about to outgrow my first hiding spot and have to clean - actually clean something - in order to get another hiding spot.

If they're all different, well, those are just samples - even the full-size jars.
Now when you have multiple tubs of the same product, and you've yet to make a dent in the first one - that's when you ought to take action.

Just wait till SBAD kicks in... SCAD doesn't seem like such a big deal anymore at that point

While I seem immune to the other AD's....for now...SCAD/SSAD do afflict me.
I must sleep with one eye open watching SWMBO lest my meger stash and I are 100% depreciated

SBAD is usually the last AD to rear it's ugly head. And it's deffintely the worse.

Josh, that a nice but modest start.

So you've got a few soaps; what's your point?

First of all, take the samples off your list. Now, pretty short list, right? Now, go get at least two from each of the 3Ts, Tabac, and half a dozen Mama Bear soaps (fewer soaps and the shipping is proportionally to high). Now, Honeybee Sue sells a great 6-soap sampler ... your choice of flavours.

At that point, you have SCAD/SSAD. Until then, you just hang out with guys that have it.
Be there or be square. Only I can do both!
I've got a cat named Beefeater and a dog named Beefeater, and two goldfish called Beefeater and Beefeater. There's Beefeater my hamster and Beefeater my horse, and my piglet, known as Beefeater of course.

    Now comes the fun part....

Wait until it comes time for you to decide to simplify your life and reduce the number of shaving products you have....

WoaHoa Nellie...You will sell, trade, and give everything but the bare minimum away...

    BUT THEN GUESS WHAT HAPPENS....MOOOOOHAHAHA

    It starts all over again...

    You just can't stand it...

To satisfy SWMBO you need to learn "The deer in the headlight look, the shrug, and where did that come from" scenario. Plus have a good sturdy box in the attic or basement.

    And as always...

    Enjoy your shave...

Susie's squeek and bubbles soap (Eucalyptus, Honeysuckle, and Honey Almond)

Look on the bright side - you have enough shaving cream to last you until 2019
