Default NOOB Questions: Price guide/ IDing large lot of DEs

Long story short my grandfather passed a while back leaving at least 50, most likely pushing 100 razors of various types.
While I dont know that theyre going to be sold,I was looking to find out if there was a good data base on values especially on some more odd ones. Any brands I should look for?
I already had 1 DE that was, at that time not being used, so I only grabbed one more (and several straights in like new condition). Looking forward to picking through the lot next time I go to my parents house

It's hard enough putting a value on a common one. Prices on ebay tend to fluctuate so much and for little apparent reason. The less common ones are even more unpredictable.

Think I'll be up there the weekend after next. Will definitely take pics. Might sell off a few if I know at least what they are/worth (ball park), but dont want to be take advantage of due to my ignorance.

Post pics in lots so it won't be so cumbersome.

Separate the razors by approximate type or design.

Myself and probably lots of others would love to go through this with you.

The only problem I see is we'd probably all argue about rarity and value

So this is what I came up with:

The count I came up with was over 60 razors

    8SEs
    14 Injectors
    22 DEs
    5 cartridge
    and at least 8 straights
not to mention a box of vintage electrics not to mention a few broken ones

the biggies are 2 aristocrats cases with blade holder and a gold fat boy

link to the album left the straights out

It will take a while for everyone to chime in...but I have no reservations in telling you that you have some phenomenal razors there. Please let the members here help you ID. I guarantee they are all drooling right now.

Your grandfather was obviously one of us.

Ive been lurking on here long enough that my eyes started popping when I opened the cases. Was going to sell the aristocrats but I made the mistake of shaving with one tonight. Its nice I have to say.

    oy.That's a bundle of awesome.

The hoffritzes are rebranded Merkur slants. Those vintage cased ones have been fetching nice prices lately - even in a slump you can figure at least $30 each... and when they're hot, 60-80.

That gold plated adjustable is an Executive fatboy. One with a bit of plating loss recently sold for about 60.

The toothy aristocrat is known as a '34, one of the most desirable scores - the first Gillette TTO. One of those in decent condition but in a different case recently sold for over 130.

It looks like you have numerous Tech heads with goofy handles which I've never seen before.

The lady gillette with the long blue handle, maybe 30 maybe more.

The other Aristocrat is probably a mid 40's model. They'll go for anywhere from 30 to 80 or even more. The condition of yours looks like it would fetch the higher end of that.

The Gems, not really people willing to pay a premium for those. Nice razors, but just too common.

The newer injectors, if they're in good functional condition and clean should get a nice price. Demand isn't always strong enough on those to get there from a 99 cent auction, so I start them high.

One of the Hoffritz razors looked like a non-slant. Looks almost like an Old Type but with a Hoffritz handle. Pretty sweet. Not sure how rare it might be.
