Dovo Palisander on a Nakayama sunashi suita. Nice shaving blade.

Shaver's Delight on a Nakayama nashiji kiita. This is the only stone that only likes a diamond plate nagura. I've not been able to really match a natural tomo to it yet, but with diamond slurry the results are great and feels much smoother honing. A hard fine stone.

The side shown is relatively soft but very fine. The other side is harder but not quite as fine for some odd reason.

The image below is the other side of it.

Max sold one I'm convinced came out of the same piece of rock (5 years later and a LOT more). The white splotches only go about halfway through the stone.

Le Grelot 355 touched up on the newly lapped backside of my chocolate Nakayama. The honing is the same as the front side, but the color is not - it's almost exactly the color of a Y/G Thuringian. Interesting stone and produces those butter smooth edges. But it's very narrow and requires x-strokes.

Le Grelot 193 Royal Canada 5/8

After the 8K, I tried to smoothen a bit with the Swaty 3-line. Inspection under x100 showed a ver smooth surface,
I still went ahead with the 12K and found that new lines had appeared.
Went to 16K and still not as smooth as after the Swaty. So I refinished with the Swaty.
Then crOx, linen, leather.
Let's try that one tomorrow.

Turned the Seraphim special into a butter knife...

I think it's just a rivet like on a (western) knife scale. That's a sweet razor BTW.

Was sorta busy today - but had time to check a few things out....

A heavier grind Torrey and a Green's Wedge.

Today it was a Red Imp 132, a Craftsman Wedge (first I've ever seen) and a Dovo Prima. They were all 5/8

Love that Craftsman wedge Rick.

It's the first one I've seen Keith. I'm thinking of offering to buy it from the fella I honed it for.

15/16 K4 Tennis by Fritz Bracht on what I believe to be a Narutaki with pink Momji patterns, karasu, and more! This stone is loaded with patterns. Very smooth to hone on and makes buttery edges.

Touched up the KP 14 on the Nakayama koppa to see what the stone would do on a known fine razor. It did really well!
