You've got some nice pieces there. Especially the shaving brush, barber pole, and calabash pipe. I'm keen on the two hand guns as I don't have those two yet. Very nice haul.Anyone see anything particularly interesting?
Yeah, the rest of it!Anything in particular I should look for next time I'm there?
A few months back, I posted about starting to clean out my Avon-lady grandmothers home for sale, and finding a bunch of stuff. Here is a portion of today's haul. All are brand new, in original boxes. There are probably another 50-60 bottles/boxes there for the picking.
Anyone see anything particularly interesting? She was an Avon lady from the mid-60's through to the late 90's. Anything in particular I should look for next time I'm there?
The bottles are fun, but I see so much Wild Country, I generally leave them behind, unless the bottle is cool.

The super shaver bottle came in today. NOS full of Spicy for $.01 ($6 shipping)! I also have the shaving brush bottle that the seller actually shipped to me for the low price of $.11 yes 11 pennies with free shipping!
Avon Wild Country in a '51 Studebaker decanter! I'm not too wild about the scent of it but I am going to use it anyways so I can put some other aftershaves in it.
Wild Country is Avon's copy of Pinaud Clubman. They are very close.
Yes, it's not the same. Modern is lighter and sweeter. I like vintage much better.
The vintage is plentiful, easy to find, and MUCH cheaper than modern. That's no consolation, that's a SCORE!
I could have filled a swimming pool with all of the vintage Wild Country I have found over the years.
