The Feather AC cured my DE RAD. This was after going through the Merkurs, Fatboys, Superspeeds, Slant and Aristocrats.

I have a western style (ebony) and an eastern style. I Just ordered a second eastern style from a group buy on SMF.

IMO, the Feather AC gives me the closest and least irritating shave.

I got the western first but then heard others say that the eastern style was easier to use. I agree that the eastern is easier but it comes with a rather plain rubber handle so I am buying another one to try and make a custom handle. This way I can shave with one and experiment with the other.

So now I have FAD (Feather Acquisition Disorder)

I thought that the westren style is easier to use becuase it is more like the regular straight razor, isn't?

The eastern style is non-folding and the handle does not get in the way as with the western style.

Yeah I know this, but why does it make it better to handle and use?
