The wife likes the scent of Tabac.....

I shaved with Tabac last night and I left the bowl on the counter. My wife comes into our room with the bowl this morning and commented how much she liked the scent of this stuff! She wants to bathe with it now.....

My wife also loves the fragrance of Tabac!

She was the one who picked it up from the P.O. box yesterday, admitted to opening it just to check out the fragrance.

She even wants me to purchase some Tabac aftershave and EDT, assuming they smell close to the same as the shaving soap.

She even went so far as to say: "Spend what you have to, but those European soaps and fragrances smell much better than that dimestore dreck you've been buying".

Sounds to me like I've been given carte blanche.

Like the Good Book says: "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?"

I shaved this morning with Tabac Soap, Tabac Aftershave, and finished up with Tabac Cologne. My wife loves the scent...it's pretty long-lasting also. I can still smell it on me 14 hours later!

BTW, the Tabac EDT is supposed to have a somewhat different scent than the Cologne, Aftershave, and Soap. Most reviewers seem to prefer the Cologne.

I've also seen it in German specialty shops, usually sitting next to some bottles of 4711. Sometimes they have the deodorant and the cologne too, but the shaving soap and cream are rarer.

My wife thinks Tabac smells like Aqua Net hairspray.

She doesn't mind it at all, but she thinks it's funny that a bunch of guys are so enchanted by it.

Maybe it's got something to do with those Big Hair lasses from my sordid youth in the 80's...

My wife also loves Tabac, specifically the after shave. She likes my Quorum EdT too. I'm a lucky guy!

Well after reading this, I decided to order a new refill of Tabac. I used it almost exclusively last year and ran out this past October. For the price, it does not get much better than Tabac.

I could easliy shave with Tabac everyday...in fact I could just shave with it exclusively. The smell doesnt bother me that much anymore but I need to get a whiff of of Col Conk Bay Rum & Almond, Williams, and Cella too often.

When I dont have shave with it and its in the cupboard.. I have caught my wife taking sniffs of it.
