The Wilkinson shaving-soap is a really good one (better than the Palmolive), but Speick an Tabac are the greatest ones of the industrial shaving-soaps, believe me!

Could be because the original post is nearly a year old.

nemo. I have never used the blue stick but cab tell you the blue tub sucks big time !!! It is only one of a very few shave products that I threw away after two shaves . very chemical scent and just horrible skin care!!! I would.rather shave with ivory bath soap then that stuff !!!!!! on the other hand I have heard from many the.stick is.great so as always Ymmv .

The stick's completely different to the blue tub, and not a bad little soap at all.
I wouldn't say it was better than Palmolive, but they're comparable; it has tallow and a bit of lanolin in there if memory serves.
Smells a bit meh, but obviously YMMV.

It's blue! Gotta have it. I find the scent more agreeable than Palmolive stick.

And my answer comes a bit late as well...

I find the Wilkinson stick awesome. Not quite as outstanding as the Palmolive- and the Arko stick, but still terrific.
After all, they all produce the finest lather, and scent is a personal choice.

I have never tried the Wilkinson tub cream, but in German forums it receives pretty bad ratings by almost everyone discussing it, as opposed to the stick. Most everyone over here likes the stick, typically referred to as "the smurf". The tube seems to be a lot better, but again, I don't know that from personal experience.

On the stick, I did stock up. At 1,49 Euros/pc., double as much as the Palmolive stick. :)
