So, I've been reading a lot on this forum. I have decided that this is something I would really enjoy.
I am looking for someone close to my location that wouldn't mind spending an hour or so teaching me a few things first hand. I've read plenty of posts and watched several videos, and I'm pretty confident that I could teach myself, but I have one concern.
I have a raised birthmark on one of my cheeks that may present a problem. I've had a straight shave before by a professional barber, so I know it is doable, however I think the learning curve might be a little steeper for me considering the difficulty in shaving with a raised birthmark.
So, if there are any of you who are near the Louisiana Texas border and wouldn't mind spending some time teaching a new guy how to shave, I'd really appreciate it.
