Anyone follow college basketball? What do you think of how Duke is doing so far?

They look good. Losing Irving won't help. But, as long as they can avoid FSU while ranked #1, they should be fine.

The only thing that could possibly be worse than having to watch Duke this season (and I was in a restaurant in Durham tonight during the game) would be for them not to exist at all. No other team and no other coach could fill that dark little corner of my heart.

Buckeye fan here, so Duke's recent struggles were favorable for them getting the #1 ranking (for whatever it is worth during the regular season).

Lets Go VOLS! As long as we keep playing ranked teams we will be ok. I find it amusing that we look so good against ranked opponents, but get beat by the unranked college's of the blind!

I thought they were ranked five now. Ohio state is number 1 from what I saw the last time I watched college basketball (i watch almost every day)

Yes, I meant that Duke's loss allowed OSU to get the #1 ranking. I can see how my original sentence was confusing.

My junior high basketball coach (and science teacher) was a former Buckeye PLAYER in the 70s.

Great coach he was.

Rob Moore - listed on the historical rosters. Never looked up his stats before...just learned he was a bench-warmer like me!

Wow...1-22 from the field with 2 points and 5 fouls in his Buckeye career. Guy could play well when I had him as a coach though...used to "school" us kids.

Kinda wish I hadn't looked up his stats now.
