Default Vintage hone id help please

    Hello,

I recently purchased a vintage hone and wanted to see if it was what I thought it was. I think it is a Belgian coticule, but not really sure. It is 1 1/2" by 7" by 3/4". What do you all think?

I'd say so. Looks to be a coti/bbw combo too, the blue side looks like my bbw sides anyway.

    That's a coticule alright.

Enjoy it, it's going to be a pleasure to use.

Congrats on your Coticule, nathanb! Looks like there's lots of coti and hone-life left on that vintage too!

Until you get a coti slurry stone any of the little DMT diamond plates can get you going.

Enjoy your new rock- it looks very sweet

I have a small 2X4 coti just like that and a 7 X 1 3/4 all with the coti glued to the BBW. Slurry is very easily obtained on these. There like butta
    Congrats!
