Phoenix - Shave and a Haircut

I'm going to be traveling to Phoenix for business and have an afternoon free and I am considering getting myself a shave and a haircut before the awards dinner that night.

Are there any great places and/or places I should avoid if I decide to get this done?

I can't think of any shops to avoid, but I can recommend one. Google "Gentleman Joe's". They have three locations in the Phoenix area. Shampoo, haircut, shave, lemon-creme facial massage and shoe shine for $40.
