    Default Face lathering badger

Is there any 45mm loft, 2-band badger or silvertip brush with a $50 price range, besides New Forest and Frank Shaving?

Shipping to Portugal might be a deal breaker, but you can get a custom From TGN or Rudy Vey for not much more than that. Or if you dont mind setting your own knot, you can get the knot and a handle for right at $50 + shipping. The TGN extra stuffed finest is really a great knot. At that loft the 20 or 22mm would most likely be the best choice. I have a 24mm set at 50mm and it feels just right for me, so if you wanted something shorter get one of the smaller knots.

Though I prefer sub 50mm boars for face lathering my Simpsons Commodore X1 in best (no, not made in silvertip) does a decent job with its 47mm loft.
I must to the barber's, monsieur, for methinks I am marvellous hairy about the face

I am looking forward to trying a Vulfix 403 "Mayfair" for face lathering soaps. Utilizes pure badger bristles which I have been told are amply stiff for face lathering and more supple at tips than would be anticipated.
