    Default Hello World

    Hello everyone.

Got interested in DE shaving 2 weeks back. Bought an Omega 10049 brush and shaving cream and started to make my own lather every morning since last week but still with a multiblade razor. Already I got a much closer shave with less irritations. This made me more resolved to go DE.

Got a Feather Popular DE razor as my training safety razor two days back and did my first DE shave this morning. The result was amazing. Can feel the blade just glides along the surface of my skin with less scraping feeling than with the multiblade. And I got BBS skin on most part of my face for my first DE shave!!! Why didn't I start this earlier.

Thanks everyone, this forum had been a great source of info. Looking forward for my next shave tomorrow morning.

Yup..I was surprise that it was not that difficult. When the blade first touched my skin, it was both exciting and a little unnerving. But I just try to concentrate on the shave, remembering 'No Pressure' and 'Short Strokes' and the next thing is I began to feel how easily the blade glides over the skin and hear it cutting across the hair. Then I find myself actually enjoying it.
