Default The effects of pre-shave on bristles?

I'm using Proraso pre-post and also Noxema (a cheaper treatment along the same lines).

Do I have anything to worry about as far as damaging my Finest bristles over time?

Also, will the bristles get coated with oils and loose some lathering efficiency?

    Thanks!

I find preshave oil does build up on my brush and seems to inhibit lathering somewhat.... A quick clean with a non-moisturizing type shampoo every few weeks takes care of this for me tho.

Read the instructions on preshaves - you should be using 3-4 drops max.
At that level, it should absorb into the skin and not affect any of your tools.

The effects of pre-shaves are primarily felt in the wallet.
