Default What is your favorite Sandlewood shaving cream?

Need to add a Sandlewood scented shaving cream to the rotation. What's the recommendation from you sandlewood lovers out there?

My favourite is from Green Pond. It is made for them by D.R. Harris and is a great match to the Harris Sandalwood AS. I just traded my tub away because I find myself shaving with soaps almost exclusively these days.

I really like the TOBS Sandalwood cream. The scent seems a bit divisive, but I personally find it very appealing. Like all the TOBS creams, the performance is top notch.

I haven't tried too many Sandalwood creams, but my first "top-shelf" cream was Art of Shaving Sandalwood. I fell in love with the scent instantly. Moisturizes pretty well too.

+1 For AOS Sandlewood cream. Great sent and great performer, beautiful thick lather with minimal effort.
Looking in the mirror to check if my tie is straight is a waste of my time. I only look in the mirror once a day, and that's in the morning when I shave.

I have never tried AOS cream, but the AOS sandalwood soap is great; nevertheless, I like both Trumper and TOBS sandalwood cream...EJ not bad either.

TOBS is probably going to be the next Sandalwood cream I get. All I hear are rave reviews. So it must be good.

AoS probably has the best Sandalwood scent, but my favorite Sandalwood cream to shave with is Vintage Blades Brand followed by ToBS. I wasn't impressed with Trumpers creams in general or the scent of Castle Forbes Cedarwood/Sandalwood. I'm looking forward to trying Green Pond in 2011.

I really like the C&E Sandalwood shave cream, but production ceased and they closed it out in 2007. If you find some, it would be worth picking up at a modest price.

Truefitt & Hill Sandalwood is amazing! Performs great and smells fantastic, a very woodsy scent.

They carry it in the C&E near where I live, and had a few pots on the shelf when I was last there. It is currently priced at 25 dollars for a 150 gram tub.

My three favorites are AoS, Vulfix, and Green Pond. I'm another who thinks that Taylor's version stinks.

Haven't compared to any other sandalwoods, but love Salter's sandalwood. Best shaving cream in my den.
