    Default FS / FT Antique Gillette Razor Set PLUS Rare Gillette Brush

    REDUCED!!!! $22.50 SHIPPED First Class Secure FS / FT Advertising Promotional Razor Set Compliments of Esco Walk & Sons (Fine Men's Clothing Shop) of Vincennes, Indiana Old Style 3 piece Gillette Razor with OLD No Stropping / No Honing Blade. Included is a very Scarce Gillette Travel Brush that appears to be as small if not smaller than the Simpson Wee Scot. I wouldn't advise using the brush as it appears to be useful for display purposes. I have seen only one other of these and it is in the collection of a European Gillette Connoisseur. I purchased the Esco Walk Set at a Antique Store in Cambridge City, Indiana for $27.50. I recently purchased the brush on eBay for $5.00. I am asking $30.00 Shipped to CONUSA only, PayPal only or suitable trades. I will throw in a pack of Feather Blades as well. I would imagine that an individual could actually use the razor in their rotation if they choose. I bid the opening bid on the brush never expecting to win it. Thanks for your interest. PM me. First member to PM AND offer a suitable Trade in the $22.50 range or pay by Immediate PayPal will have the items shipped First Class Mail wrapped securely to their confirmed address.REDUCED!!!!

    I know this is an old topic, but if you still have this, I am interested in it.

    After over 3 years, I don't like your chances.

    I'll go $24 to get it back to it's rightful place, Indiana.

    Hey fellas;

    1. This is a three year old thread. I hate Lazarus threads.

    2. Some noobs may not appreciate that you guys are just being humorous, and may believe that your offers are serious.
    Please be cautious, or add a note that clearly indicates that you are not bidding on an item in the BST.
    We don't want new guys to think this is e-bay.

    Yeah, my offer was made in jest, I should've noted that. My apologies to Darksir.

    Again, my apologies for bringing up such an old post. I knew my chances of the item still being available was pretty slim, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to find out for sure. I'm the current-day occupant of the storefront that was once Esco Walk & Son. It would just be a wonderful piece of history to display. At the very least, I have the picture now.

    Thank you :)

    Send the original poster (Antique Hoosier) a private message (PM). He may still have it, or may remember who he sold it to and put you in touch.

    I would go to lengths to help get that razor back to where it was distributed nearly 100 years ago - what a cool story!

    I have done so. Will keep my fingers crossed. Thanks again.
