Define BBS, SAS, DFS

I know what these abbreviations stand for, but what do they mean to you?

BBS is easy: you feel no hair when rubbing your face in any direction. The other abbreviations are not so clear cut. I would define DFS as clean looking, but stubble is still there when feeling my face ATG. As for SAS, well I don't even know how to describe that.

Anyway, let me hear how you define these terms.

BBS- obviously no stubble whatsoever, also no razor burn or cuts/nicks. a perfect shave.

DFS- still no stubble, but ill allow some burn or cuts/nicks

SAS- everything else.....

If I cut or burn myself I would not rate that as DFS. A DFS IMO is a great shave, you look and feel like you have just had a Damn Fine Shave.

SAS is a good looking shave that may not be your best but would definitely not raise eyebrows in public.

YMMV.

From here: http://wiki.badgerandblade.com/index.php/Abbreviations

Stage 2 - What do they mean?

BBS - Smooth all directions
DFS - Shave is not smooth in all direction, can be visible stubble but no irritation
SAS - Shave is presentable, there's visibile stubble and irritation (let's face it, that's what most electric shavers have...).
