No kidding! Back in the days we lived in a small condo. The only room we had to store blades was in the attic. Every night I had to climb into the attic and retrieve the blades needed to ship. Then we'd pack everything back up and put it back in the attic. All the while trying not to wake up my sleeping kids as the attic entry was in their closet.

I think Bob would like to see a picture of all the Simpson brushes laid out spelling the word "beginish". This way he could actually see the brushes calling out his name.

Or all of them in a pile on the floor so that I can imagine myself rolling around in them.

Man, you must have a serious case of AD's to stockpile that much gear.

But seriously, I like how you scratched an itch with razor blade samplers and grew that into a business. A great story. Thanks for your interview and sharing more with us.

    Hello John,

Has the water receded behind Prado Dam and has Euclid Avenue finally reopened?

    Thanks,
    Mike

Thanks - great interview. WCS/John is always a pleasure to deal with. It is great to see the quality has remained or gotten better even with a business expansion. Here's wishing you success in the future! I admire small business owners who can start up a business from a personal hobby. It shows and is a great story.

Yeah, I HAD to turn this into a business based purely on storage needs of the collection.

I heard it just reopened a day or two ago. Did you hear about the people that thought they could drive through 10 ft of water and ended up drowning? Crazy.

Please do. This goes for anyone, if you're stopping by, send me an email to make sure I'll be there. I love meeting people from B&B.

Man I wish you were closer to Dallas.

Great to see such a well stocked shelf.

    Hello John,

I did hear about it. It is definitely sad but luckily the guy who risked his life trying to save them from drowning was OK.

    Thanks,
    Mike

I could be wrong but I thought I read somewhere about a B&B discount at WCS?

I didn't see anything in the interview about it, so I am wondering if I was reading something else and thought it was for WCS.

If there is a B&B discount at WCS, how do you get it?

Thanks and awesome pix and great interview. Oh and I ordered some shave soap yesterday and had to put the MWF on a waiting list because your out off stock again

    Default My experience with WCS

Great Interview! I've ordered a handful of items a couple of different times from www.westcoastshaving.com and have been very impressed with the customer service, prices, and quality of the products.

    Great work John!
