Default LA NUIT DE L'HOMME by YVES SAINT LAURENT

My Dad got this for Christmas. I tried it, really liked it!.. It's gourmand, it's tobacco, it's floral, and it's citrusy all at the same time.

I have never heard of this cologne until today but may end up picking up a bottle. Seems like a perfect evening scent.
May not be the most original(similar to Armani Code) but a very well crafted scent.

Anyone else have any opinions on this cologne?

I gave it a sniff. It's nice, although I agree with you that it's not very original. There's something about it that smells a little generically department store to me. L'Homme has never been a raging success among perfume critics, who feel things like Kouros and Jazz/Live Jazz are far better offerings, but that's not to say it's a bad scent by any means. I haven't seen very much press on this night version, but I'd hazard to say that it's been received the same way as the original. YSL is a great house - if you like this one you should go for it.
