Olive Oil

I've noticed around the board some people talk of EVOO used in creams & soaps. I'd like to hear a little more & how exactly you go about including EVOO in a cream or soap.

Some of the real experts on soap making here say that olive oil is a lather killer for shaving soap. Some use a 70% olive oil soap as a preshave wash. I like to use a preshave oil of about 50% olive oil+50%castor oil when I use a straight razor. Check the posts, I recall quite a discussion about this only a few weeks ago.

I generally avoid any soap or cream that contains olive oil, because in my experience, it kills latherability.
