    Default Is this razor possible ?

    I collect Techs and saw this somewhere else.
    ====================================

    Fat Handle Tech...No Date Code (stamped 1932), very good condition (mintish), triangular slots,

    ================================

    From my reading, this might be the 1951 Canadian with a 1932 patent number date. However, according to Achim, the 1951 did not have the triangular slots.

    Any ideas ?

    Thank you Mr-Razor.

    But does 1938-1945 Canadian fat handle Tech have 1932 stamped in the metal ?

    Great shavers, those Canadian Techs. Something a little better about them for a closer shave than the USA ones for me.

    1932 is the patent year. You see on my Tech-Link, that the 1951 Canadian Tech has the 1932 stamp too. Before 1951 there is no date code on the base plate.

    That's the one M80, thanks. And since it has the triangular slots, it's from 1938-1945......Right ??

    And thanks for all who straightened me out, or at least tried to.

    I have the same Tech so it's nice to finally get a more accurate production year.

    I think I am the only soul in the world who gets a terrible shave from a tech. Granted, I have only used one but it tears me up which is weird because everyone always talks about how mild it is. When I use a DE adjustable it is set to 7 or 9 and I use SE's, especially the OCMM. I love the OCMM. I have no idea why the tech gives me so much trouble.

    I have the same razor, but I can't give an opinion on whether or not the Canadian model is more aggressive or not because its the only Tech I have. I will say that it is more aggressive then my mid 50s Rocket Flare Tip with the II on the base plate.

    Now if someone wants to send me a new non Canadian Tech I would gladly give it a try shaving one side of my face with one and the the other side with the other to give an opinion
