I recently found a clean StrongSet brush and decided to replicate the feel of a smaller favorite if mine, the Simpson Special. I've been enjoying the smaller knots lately for face lathering.
So I decided to set the budget priced 20mm TGN Best Badger knot similarly with a 46mm loft. The brush works well and is lighter than any other I have because of the wood used in the handle.
The unrestored paint finish is to my liking, I hope it lasts. I'm happy, all for less than $25
